Lessons & Outreach
The FCC Music School currently provides music lessons in a variety of instruments from voice, to piano, and more. Many of our instructors are members of the church.
Rates will vary based on instrument and teacher.
Students will receive holistic instruction on their instrument, theory, ear training, and history knowledge, as well as perform in recitals and events to develop performance practices. Have a specific goal in mind, such as to work towards a role or a solo in your school ensemble? Our instructors tailor their teaching to each student so that your child has the best environment to learn their instrument.

Lenten Organ Series
The Lenten Organ Recital Series features our great Turner pipe organ and its ability to lift, excite, and spread great musical joy by hosting various half-hour programs featuring local organists. The community doesn’t have many organ recital opportunities, and therefore classical organ music isn’t readily available in performance. This series allows organists to prepare some of the repertoire for short programs rather than a long concert.
In the past we have featured: Dr. Stephen Moore, Kristen Cameron, Sally Rehfeldt, Philip Hoch, Jeffrey Rickard, Irmengard Jennings, and Kimo Smith.
Organ Bench Invitations
The Organ Bench Invitations encourages young keyboard players to play our Turner pipe organ and consider learning the instrument.
This is ongoing and occurs at 11:00 am every Sunday by appointment. Contact the office to set up an appointment to play the organ with Dr. Yarnelle.
