Special Meeting on Dec 17th, THIS SUNDAY
This coming Sunday at 11:15a in the Sanctuary, the Church Council has called a Special Meeting of the Congregation for the purpose of considering matters that relate to our church organization structure. The Council will present edits to the Constitution and the Board of Directors will recommend edits to the Bylaws.

Congregational Christmas Card
Christmas Greetings! This year instead of buying cards and mailing them to people in our congregation, you can donate to Mexican Christian Children’s Aid and sign our large greeting card in the patio after church during the month of December. MCCA purchases and transports needed supplies to orphanages in Mexico once a month; let’s continue the tradition of our support to them this December. A mission committee member will be on the patio after church to receive your donation. Please make checks payable to First Congregational Church. Thank you for your generous gifts this season.

Women’s Book Club
Our holiday book is The Christmas Shoes by Donna VanLiere. It’s the story of a serendipitous meeting between a man losing his family because of his focus on professional achievement and material rewards and an 8-year-old boy whose mother is dying of cancer. Our next meeting is January 7th at 11:15 in the library.
