Thanksgiving Interfaith Service

Our church has the honor of hosting the Redlands Interfaith Thanksgiving gathering this year! We will have our church choir joined by choirs from various local churches, led by our very own Bruce McClurg; we'll also have a song featuring the Clarion Kids Choir along with other children's choirs from our community. Come and be a part of the celebration, sharing with all the many faith traditions in our area.

Pumpkins and PIPES!
Young pianists are invited to select a piece to play for Pumpkins and PIPES!, held at our church on the evening of Oct 31st. Please let Dr. Ed Yarnelle know what you would like to play, and at what time, by contacting the office@redlands.church. We will be gathering from 5p - 7p.

Church Constitution
As some of us might already be aware, an effort to modify our Constitution and Bylaws has been proposed. The Church Council approved the first reading of the modifications at our October meeting; a second reading will be held in November, and a Congregational vote is planned for December. Copies of both the proposed and the original documents are available in the church office. Written suggestions/recommendations to the proposed constitution and bylaws will be accepted until 10/30/2017. Please direct questions to Dane Vose by contacting the office at (909) 793-3157.

Women's Book Club
Our current book is “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus” by Nabeel Qureshi. The author tells a powerful story about the clash between his passion for Islam and his growing discovery, almost against his will, of the power of Christianity and the peace he eventually found in Jesus Christ. Our next meeting will be in the church library on November 12th at 11:15a, following second service.
